Concord 6, Keene 1 — The Blackbirds (4-7) couldn’t keep up with the defending state champion Crimson Tide (8-2). Emma Bartlett scored Keene’s lone run in the second inning, leading off with a single, advancing on a Courtney Dunham single and a fielder’s choice and then scoring on a dropped third strike. Alyssa Bartlett struck out seven.

Bishop Guertin 18, Keene 14 — The Blackbirds (7-5) couldn’t follow up Zach Mooers’ pitching gem from Saturday against Concord, losing in an offensive shootout to the Cardinals (11-0).

Keene scored 13 runs in the final three innings and nearly came back from a 13-1 deficit, but came up short.

Alex Charles went 2-for-3 with a double, two runs scored and three RBI, while Owen Fauth was 2-for-3 with two runs and two RBI, and Peter Haas finished 2-for-2 with a double, a run and two RBI.
