Fresh off its sixth straight Little East Conference championship win, the Keene State men’s lacrosse team saw three players pick up weekly conference awards Monday.

Junior midfielder Connor Nolan was named Offensive Player of the Week, while senior long-stick midfielder Steve Hamel earned Defensive Player of the Week honors and sophomore Chase Chamberlin was named Goalie of the Week.

In Saturday’s conference title game, where the Owls beat Plymouth State 24-10 with 15 different goal-scorers, Nolan led the way with six goals and one assist.

Hamel scooped up five ground balls and caused three turnovers in the final, following an 18-7 semifinal win over UMass Dartmouth in which he finished with two ground balls and two caused turnovers. Chamberlin recorded six saves in the semifinal, and picked up five saves in the first half of the final.
