The New Hampshire Golf Association has announced that the 2019 New Hampshire Open will take place in Keene at Bretwood Golf Course and Keene Country Club this coming June. It will be the first time ever that the tournament has featured two different courses.

The announcement came Wednesday as the N.H. Golf Association announced the continuation of Xfinity’s sponsorship of the event.

The tournament is scheduled to run June 20-22, splitting time between Bretwood and Keene CC. The first day will be played at Bretwood, with the second day at Keene and the final day of the 54-hole event returning to Bretwood to crown the champion. Professional golfers will compete for a total purse of at least $40,000, the NHGA said.

“We’ve been able to attract top players from across the country and we look forward to a fantastic championship next year at both Bretwood GC and Keene CC,” NHGA Executive Director Matt Schmidt said in a statement.

Bretwood has been the host of this tournament 15 times, while Keene CC has hosted it five times. The New Hampshire Open — which hosts a field of 156 professional and amateur golfers that is cut down to 40 after the first two days — is one of the longest-running golf tournaments in the state, dating back to 1930.
