Monadnock 11, Newport 3 — Carl Hoden excelled on both sides for the Huskies (5-2). He went 3-for-4 with a triple, three runs scored and four RBI, and pitched 3.1 shutout innings of relief, giving up one hit and one walk while striking out four.
Kevin Putnam went 2-for-2 with a double and four RBI, while Hunter Langworthy was 1-for-2 with three runs and an RBI. Langworthy also pitched 1.1 innings in relief of starter Connor Branon; Langworthy gave up one run on three hits and one walk while striking out two, and Branon allowed two runs on four hits and one walk with four strikeouts.
Conant 5, Bishop Brady 4 — Nick Germano‘s walk-off hit in the bottom of the seventh inning led the Orioles (7-2) in a game that saw four ties and four lead changes. Gavin Motuzas led Conant with three hits. Preston Kirby pitched a complete game and struck out four.
Keene 6, Bishop Guertin 1 — The Cardinals (0-8) scored in the first inning, but pitcher Courtney Dunham and the Blackbirds’ (4-6) defense buckled down to give Keene the chance for the comeback win. Megan Healey led the offense with two hits, including a triple, two runs scored and two RBI, while Laurel Clace had a double, a run and an RBI.
Fall Mountain 21, Franklin 0 (5) — Chloe Vogel tossed a no-hitter with five strikeouts for the Wildcats
(6-3), while also going 5-for-5 at the plate with six RBI.
Nicole Limoges went 4-for-5 with three RBI, while Savana Wilson was 3-for-4 with three RBI and Zandy Fitzpatrick finished 3-for-4 with two RBI.
Monadnock 15, Laconia 10 — The Huskies (5-2) recorded at least 14 goals for the fifth time this season, led by a season-high seven from Dominic Dow. Chris Boucher recorded five goals and two assists against the 6-2 Sachems, while Chandler Matson tallied a team-high five assists. Justin Joslyn tallied two goals and one assist, while Tim Hart had three assists and Aidan Hart added a goal and an assist.
Concord 14, Keene 1 — Aubrey Mitchell scored the lone goal for the Blackbirds (2-7). Isabella Sutton recorded seven saves against the Crimson Tide (3-5).
ConVal 5, Oyster River 4 — The match between the Cougars (4-5) and Bobcats (4-4) came down to a final, tight contest at No. 2 doubles that was won by ConVal’s Rhett Landers and Jamison Coty, 8-6.
The Cougars also got wins in the first three singles matches, from Zach Kriebel (8-2), Landers (8-3) and Taylor Burgess (8-2), while Kriebel and Burgess also won at No. 1 doubles, 8-2.
