Virginia M. Johnson
Virginia May Johnson (Wright), born to Paul B. Wright and Veda M. Whipple (Wright) on Feb. 4, 1925, in Newport, passed away peacefully on Jan. 28, 2019, in Glendale, Ariz.
She lived with her only daughter, Linda Miller (Whitley), and her son-in-law, Ken Miller. She was preceded in death by her husband, Alfred W. Johnson; and her brother Everett Wright.
She leaves behind two brothers, Larry Wright and Charles Wright; and her sister, Barbara Lambert (Wright); grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and great-great grandchildren.
Virginia served as a nurse in the U.S. Army Air Force during World War II. She loved to travel, cook, play cards and participate in craft fairs. She was an amazing seamstress and her true passion was her daughter and her family.
Virginia was a lady with a huge heart and was deeply loved by many.
