Michael S. Henry
Michael S. Henry, 64, of Manchester and a former resident of Keene, passed away on May 20, 2019, at the Hillsborough County Nursing Home in Goffstown, following a brief illness.
His parents, Charles T. and Frances E. (Williams) Henry, welcomed their son into the world on Jan. 25, 1955 in Keene. He grew up in Keene attending local schools and was a 1973 graduate of Keene High School. He later attended Claremont Community College.
A resident of Manchester for the past 35 years, Michael worked in sales with Seaman’s Electric in Manchester. When not hard at work, Michael enjoyed rooting for the Red Sox, Patriots, Celtics and Bruins. He was also a fan of NASCAR. He enjoyed listening to the blues and attended many concerts. If you needed to know anything about blues music, he was your go-to guy.
He will be greatly missed by many, especially his sisters, Nancy Bishop and her husband, John, of Barnet, Vt., and Sharon L. Bedard and her husband, Robert, of Loris, S.C.; a brother, Timothy C. Henry and his wife, Lynda, of Manchester and Costa Rica; his aunts, Margaret Cotter of Concord and Joyce Miller of Bellows Falls; nine nieces and nephews; several great-nieces, great-nephews and extended family members.
Family and friends are invited to call on Wednesday, June 5, from 2 to 4 p.m. in the Foley Funeral Home, 49 Court St., Keene.
