David A. Venske

David A. “Davey” Venske, 36, a lifetime resident of Keene, died unexpectedly from a brain aneurysm on Saturday, May 25, 2019, at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon.

David was born the son of Donna L. (Locher) and John Venske on June 17, 1982, in Keene. He was educated locally and graduated from Keene High School class of 2001.

He worked at Hannaford grocery store in Keene for 18 years as the assistant produce manager.

David lived with his girlfriend and love of his life, Brittany L. Willett, in Keene for the past eight years.

Time was spent playing Dungeons and Dragons. He liked to go target shooting and play pool. Time was also spent cooking and improvising meals for the family.

Mr. Venske is survived by his father, John Venske of Marlborough and his mother, Donna L. Locher of Keene; his siblings, Rachelle A. Windsor of Muskogee, Okla., Brian A. Venske of Tulsa, Okla., and John W. Venske of Renton, Wash.; his significant other, Brittany L. Willett of Keene; her daughter, Nakira V. Lefebvre of Keene, whom he dearly loved. In addition, he leaves cousins, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Calling hours will take place on Sunday, June 2, from 2 to 4 p.m. in the funeral chapel. Burial will take place later.
