CONCORD — The N.H. house is close to wrapping up its business for the 1969 session except for final consideration of the budget. House Speaker Marshall W. Cobleigh, R-Nashua, said today he expects there will be about 50 bills dealing with non-monetary matters left to consider by the end of next week. Only three full weeks remain in the biennual session.
The Keene High Blackbirds moved into the championship round of the Class L baseball tournament by rolling over the Crimson Tide from Concord, 8-2, behind another splendid mound performance by Ted Ferguson. Team captain Tom Durling and Kris Bergeron aided the offensive cause by scoring five of the Bird runs, with Durling crossing the plate twice and Bergeron three times.
