A 25-year-old Keene man suffered serious injuries in a motorcycle crash around 5 p.m. Sunday on Concord Road, police said in a news release Monday morning.
The motorcyclist, Devon Pratt, received treatment on-scene, near the intersection of Nims Road, before being airlifted to the hospital, according to the release. Officials from the Keene Police Department were not immediately available Monday morning to provide more information on the nature and severity of his injuries. The release does not say to which hospital Pratt was taken.
Police believe Pratt was riding the 1986 Honda VT1100C motorcycle toward Route 9 when the vehicle left the road, according to the release. Pratt rode on the shoulder of the road before the motorcycle overturned, and he was thrown from it, eventually landing in the road.
The Keene Police Collision Analysis Team continues to investigate the crash. Anyone with information should call Det./Lt. Joel Chidester at 603-357-9813.
