BRATTLEBORO — Police are investigating a Keene man for the alleged theft of more than $900 of merchandise from a grocery store last month.

Brattleboro police said in a news release this week that Glenn A. Rivet, 50, left the store on Canal Street without paying for the items on Sept. 14. Police say they’ve applied for an arrest warrant.

Brattleboro police Sgt. Gregory Eaton said the stolen merchandise, which was recovered at the scene, included about $710 worth of food.
