A bank is cutting the ribbon on its new branch this afternoon to celebrate its relocation next to the Colony Mill in Keene.

NBT Bank moved from 391 West St. to its renovated space at 210 West St. last month, according to a news release. The new digs are in the former home of Ye Goodie Shoppe adjacent to the Colony Mill, which is undergoing a transformation into an apartment complex.

Guests at today’s ribbon-cutting at 2 p.m. are expected to include several top officials from NBT Bank, along with Keene Mayor Kendall W. Lane and Philip N. Suter, president and CEO of the Greater Keene Chamber of Commerce.

Headquartered in Norwich, N.Y., NBT Bank has more that 150 branches and 200 ATMs across six states, according to the release: New Hampshire, Maine, Massachusetts, Vermont, Pennsylvania and New York. In the Granite State, the bank has offices in Keene, Manchester, Nashua and Portsmouth.
