RINDGE — A Boston attorney with a reputation built on defending free speech will speak at Franklin Pierce University tonight.

Joseph D. Steinfield, a practicing trial lawyer, will give a lecture titled, "The Danish Cartoons and the Charlie Hebdo Cartoons: Shouting Fire in a Crowded Theatre?”

Steinfield also teaches First Amendment litigation at Boston College Law School and the University of New Hampshire School of Law in Concord. 

The event is schedule for 6:30-7:30 p.m. in Spagnuolo Hall on the Franklin Pierce University campus.
