A decades-long search

Annette Spaulding of Rockingham, Vt., may have finally found Indian Rock, a submerged Native American petroglyph site, beneath the surface of the West River.

Earlier this month, under a dozen feet of water and 28 inches of sand, Annette Spaulding found something she had sought for more than 30 years.
