Volunteers are needed for the 25th annual Connecticut River Conservancy’s Source to Sea Cleanup, a four state community event to cleanup the Connecticut River and its tributaries, which will be held this weekend..

Cleanup crews will work on Friday, Sept. 24, and Saturday, Sept. 25, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at multiple sites in Keene; on Saturday, Sept. 25, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in Swanzey; and on Sunday, Sept. 26, from 2 to 6 p.m. in Winchester.

Sites include on-foot and boating locations in the three towns. Volunteers should only use small boats such as kayaks, canoes and paddle boats, due to limited space. Volunteers do not require a boat but are encouraged to bring a small boat and life jackets if available. Trash bags and gloves will be provided to all volunteers, and a limited amount of T-shirts for volunteers will be available. More information about specific site locations can be found at: https://www.cheshireconservation.org/s2s
