Mike Gagnon and Matt Tarr of UNH Cooperative Extension will lead a relaxed winter tree identification walk on Saturday, Jan. 22, from 10 a.m. to noon at the Harris Center for Conservation Education in Hancock.
The group will focus on branching, buds and bark while the leaves are off the trees and stop to discuss the trees from an ecological and economic perspective.
