Churches:

The diocese of Manchester has announced that mass will not be available to the general public.

Next Level Church, which has area locations in Keene and Peterborough, is closing its churches this weekend. People can attend church online at online.nextlevel.church on Sunday, March 15, at 9 a.m., 10:45 a.m. and 7 p.m.; Monday at noon; or Wednesday at 7 p.m. People can also join the church's Facebook Live feed Sunday at 9 a.m., 10:45 a.m. or 7 p.m. NLC Kids activities will be accessible online at the NLC Parents Facebook group

Peterborough Unitarian Universalist Church is immediately suspending all in-person worship, events, and meetings in its church building and office, including those renting the building and Wednesday Community Suppers, through at least the end of March. Worship, religious education and meetings will be taking place online. 

Community spaces:

Keene Public Library, closed Monday, March 16, through March 30

The Dublin Community Center (DubHub) closed until at least April 6

Rockingham Library in Bellows Falls, closed starting Tuesday, March 17, with all events either canceled or postponed. Questions about how to access digital resources can be directed to reference@rockinghamlibrary.org or 802-463-4270

Peterborough Town Library, closed to the public, although curbside service is being considered. Information about what's available online can be accessed at https://peterboroughtownlibrary.org/

The GEP Dodge Library in Bennington will be closed to patrons through Monday, April 6.

Stratton Free Library and Mount Caesar Library in Swanzey, closed until further notice.

The Keene Senior Center is closed to the public and is temporarily suspending activities.

River Garden in Brattleboro closed until April 6

The Jaffrey Public Library is closed. Staff will conduct curbside deliveries outside the library to people who request materials.

The Monadnock Center for History and Culture in Peterborough will be closed to the public through April 7. All concerts, events, and programs have been canceled through April 30

Courts:

N.H. courts are canceling all in-person proceedings, with certain exceptions for urgent matters, including bail hearings and plea hearings for incarcerated people; requests for protection orders related to domestic violence, stalking and child abuse; and child-related emergency orders in family court. The courthouses remain open to the public.

The federal courthouse in Concord that houses the U.S. District Court is closed until Monday, March 23. All hearings scheduled for the week of March 16 are postponed. All jury trials and grand jury proceedings have been pushed back until after May 1.

Entertainment venues

Bellows Falls Opera House, suspending screenings of all movies until further notice

The Putnam Theater at Keene State College has suspended all film screenings for the rest of the spring semester.

Government offices:

*Check with your local town; most are limiting public access and encouraging residents to conduct business online.

Public access is being suspended at both the Keene fire and police departments.

The Windham County Sheriff's Office's lobby is closed for a to-be-announced period of time. People who come to the office can use the call box near the door.

All town facilities in Brattleboro will be closed starting Wednesday, with town departments available by phone and email. Free parking in town.

Chesterfield town offices, closed to the public until April 4, although the clerk is scheduled to be open for business on Mondays, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., and 4 to 7 p.m, and the tax collector's office will be open Mondays from 2 to 6 p.m. Town meetings, excluding selectmen and the Office of Emergency Management, are also suspended until April 4. The town will be waiving the "convenience fee" up to $10 per transaction for online registrations with the town clerk's office until April 4.

Jaffrey town offices are closed until further notice and most town facilities have restricted or no public access. Recycling at the transfer station is suspended but the trash compactor remains operational.

City of Keene has restricted access to all offices

Fitzwilliam has restricted public access to all town offices except the town clerk's office.

Walpole Police Department's administrative lobby is closed. Residents can contact police through the county's dispatch line at 355-2000 or administrative services at 445-2058.

Winchester Police Department's administrative lobby is closed. Residents can contact police through the county's dispatch line at 355-2000 or administration at 239-4814. 

Historical societies/museums

The Historical Society of Cheshire County in Keene, closed to visitors from Tuesday, March 17, until Monday, April 6, with programs and other events canceled or postponed until at least April 8. Staff can still help with genealogical or local history research, and say email is the best way to reach them, at https://bit.ly/2Uae3oQ.

Starting Monday, March 16, the Cheshire Children's Museum in Keene will close for a minimum of two weeks. Members will have an additional month tacked on to their membership.

The Monadnock Center for History and Culture in Peterborough will close through April 7, with all events and programs cancelled through April 30.

The Chesterfield Historical Society is closed until further notice.

Monadnock Peer Support's onsite and transportation support services are being suspended as of Wednesday, March 18, with remote support available beginning March 23.  

Music groups:

Animaterra, postponing its season until further notice

Grand Monadnock Youth Choirs will suspend all rehearsals until at least the second week of April.

Brattleboro Music Center, closed until at least March 27, when staff will reassess the situation

Music on Norway Pond, suspending entire spring season

Recovery services

Keene Serenity Center, closed until at least April 3. Staff will answer the phone at 283-5015 during normal business hours, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Weekly meetings, such as Mothers in Recovery, will either be canceled or hosted during their regularly scheduled times on Skype or Zoom.

Recreational areas and facilities

Crotched Mountain Ski & Ride, closed March 15-22 

Keene Family YMCA, on-site operations closed until March 30, although childcare will remain open at the Children's Learning Center, the Maple Avenue Learning Center and Jonathan Daniels preschool site, with class sizes lowered to 10. School-aged programming will be offered at the main YMCA for brothers and sisters of kids in the early childhood programs. The YMCA also plans to offer alternative exercise options, including virtual ad live-streamed classes, with details to come.

Keene Recreation Center, closed Monday, March 16, through March 30

Jaffrey recreation programs, cancelled until at least April 6

Granite Gorge Ski Area, closed for snow sports for the season

Theaters:

The Colonial Theatre in Keene is suspending all events for an unspecified period of time.

Hooker-Dunham Theater and Gallery in Brattleboro is suspending shows through April.

Branch River Theatre in Marlborough is postponing the March performances of "Give 'Em Hell, Harry!"

Edge Ensemble Theatre Company's production of "Italian American Reconciliation" is canceled.
