Pianist Zachariah Burrows, a freshman at Middlebury (Vt.) Union High School and a piano student of Cynthia Huard, will perform the Rondo movement of Beethoven’s Piano Concerto No. 2 with the Keene Chamber Orchestra in Keene on Feb. 23 and 24.
Eric Stumacher will serve as conductor; the concert will be performed at Trinity Lutheran Church, 100 Maple Ave., in Keene on Saturday, Feb. 23, at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, Feb. 24 at 4 p.m.
The remainder of the program will contain the finale of Rossini’s William Tell Overture, known popularly as the theme music for The Lone Ranger, and Brahms’ Symphony No. 2.
The Keene Chamber Orchestra, in its 29th season, is composed of professional musicians joining forces with talented student musicians of all ages, all from the Greater Keene, Monadnock and New England regions.
