The Brooks Memorial Library in Brattleboro will host an exploratory meeting about forming a New Yorker magazine discussion group on Tuesday, Oct. 26, at 7 p.m.

Similar to a book group, participants would bring their favorite articles in the magazine every month for comments and discussion. Anyone who is interested in joining may offer input on organizing the group in the Community Meeting Room on the second floor of the library at 224 Main St., Brattleboro.

The program is free, open to the public and accessible to people in wheelchairs. Because it will be held indoors, all attendees are required to wear masks by town order. For more information, call 802-254-5290 or visit
