The Monadnock Regional High School Marching Band has been invited to compete and perform at the 2019 Outback Bowl. It was selected to represent the New England region and is the only school from New England that will participate.

The band will be in Tampa — home of the New Year’s Day bowl game — for six days. It will participate in several music festival activities and competitions including performing its halftime show for the opportunity to perform live in front of 65,000 spectators at Raymond James Stadium, the home field of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Band members are involved in several campaigns to raise money for the trip including a raffle for a big green egg donated by Hamshaw’s, selling ad space on banners hung on the football field, hosting several days of the Husky House concession stand and campaigning through gofundme.com.
