Veteran and first-time writers looking for advice and assistance are invited to a virtual series of writing workshops at Keene Public Library on Thursday evenings through March 3. Each session is held from 6 to 8 p.m.

The group is led by professional writer Randy Koons, who encourages aspiring authors to ask questions, share work and provide insight into the writing experience. Short and long-form fiction and memoir writers are welcomed.

Each week, two people will read their work, which can be fiction or memoir, and an open discussion of the work follows the reading. The group focuses on storytelling rather than grammar.

No commitment is required, although writers who would like to attend are asked to register by calling the library at 603-352-0157 or visiting the library’s online calendar, Writers can meet in person or join through a Zoom link.

Keene Public Library is at 60 Winter St., Keene. Information: 603-352-0157.
