The Horatio Colony Nature Preserve will host a five-week hiking series called “A Mindful Experience for Caregivers” on Wednesdays beginning Oct. 13. The hikes will be held from 10 to 11:30 a.m. and will conclude on Nov. 10.
Spending a lot of time caregiving for others is both rewarding and challenging. Join us at the Horatio Colony Nature Preserve for a weekly mindfulness hike in the heart of fall. Take a step back and think about it: We are all caregivers.
The group is for all types of caregivers, including those who care for children, parents, neighbors, a spouse or the planet. The mindfulness hikes are designed as an opportunity to escape the stress of daily life by enjoying a calming fall hike. The hike will include time for meditation, stretching and group sharing. The guide will be Amy Trippodi, a certified Kripalu Mindful Outdoor Guide and yoga instructor.
The program is limited to 10 people and designed for adult attendees to participate in all five sessions. Registration is required: https://tinyurl.com/2em9dv4f. For more information, call 603-283-2115 or email colonypreserve@antioch
