Anyone interested in learning about butterflies and contributing to a regional butterfly survey is invited to join the Harris Center for Conservation Education’s new SuperSanctuary Butterfly Club.

The club will meet monthly, beginning Wednesday, Jan. 12, from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. via Zoom. An optional in-person field trip will be held in May.

Each meeting, led by wildlife biologist Mark Ellingwood, will feature illustrated slideshows, group discussion on identification and basic information about the lives of around a dozen local butterfly species. No prior butterfly experience is required.

Space is limited, and registration is required at https://harriscenter.org. A materials fee of $20 is required; financial assistance is available. To submit payment, contact Miles Stahmann at 603-525-3394 or stahmann@harriscenter.org. For other questions, contact Susie Spikol at spikol@harriscenter.org.
