The Friends of Pisgah will host a moonlight hike on Nov. 20 in Pisgah State Park.

The night is set to have a nearly-full moon and the leaves will have fallen, allowing the moonlight to illuminate the forest. The group will hike a couple of views and back around to the Dort shelter.

Hikers will meet at the Friends of Pisgah’s Dort property at 4:30 p.m. The Dort property is on the east side of Route 63, a few miles north of the Kilburn Trail parking lot. A sign will be displayed on the road to direct people to the driveway.

After the hike, hot dogs and drinks will be available by the fire at the Dort shelter.
