The longtime chairman of Cheshire County Federal Credit Union has been named to the supervisory committee of its new parent company.
David Perry served as the Keene credit union’s board chairman from 2000 until late February, when it merged with GFA Credit Union. GFA has branches in Rindge and Peterborough, as well as seven in Massachusetts; under the GFA umbrella, Cheshire County Federal Credit Union retained its name and continues to operate out of its Marlboro Street location.
Before taking its helm, Perry had served on the board at Cheshire County Federal Credit Union since 1991. He is a sales and solutions engineer for Airline Hydraulics Inc. He holds degrees in business management and mechanical engineering, from Keene State College and Vermont Technical College, respectively.
