There’s a new hospitalist at Cheshire Medical Center.
Kathryn Carson, a nurse practitioner, has worked at the Keene hospital since 2016, starting as a staff nurse in the women and children’s health unit, according to a news release from Cheshire Medical Center. She became a clinical nurse educator last year before moving into her new position as a hospitalist.
In the new role, Carson will be a member of the Medical Home Team, with other practitioners and staff and work with patients to take an active role in their health and well-being. The Medical Home Team integrates preventive, acute and chronic care.
Carson holds a Master of Science in nursing, which she earned from Walden University in Minneapolis, as well as a Bachelor of Science and associate degree, both in nursing, from Rivier University in Nashua.
