A Sullivan woman has been promoted to vice president of mortgage lending at a local bank.
Dawn Martin joined Savings Bank of Walpole in 1994, according to a recent news release from the bank. She has held various positions in her 25 years at the Walpole-based bank, including loan operations manager and commercial credit analyst. Most recently, she served as vice president, loan operations manager, a post she was promoted to in 2013.
As vice president of mortgage lending, Martin will manage day-to-day mortgage operations, implement mortgage products and help plan the bank’s long-term strategies.
“We’d like to congratulate Dawn on this well-deserved promotion,” bank President Mark Bodin said in the release. “She’s been an important member of the SBW lending team for many years and she brings a great deal of knowledge, expertise and leadership skills to her new role.”
Martin lives in Sullivan with her husband, Eric, and their children. She earned a bachelor’s degree in financial management at Franklin Pierce College (now Franklin Pierce University). She stays active in the community, participating with Rise for Baby and Family, the Keene Day Care and the Monadnock United Way’s campaigns.
