JAFFREY — The vice president of a local building-supply retailer has landed a post on the Jaffrey Civic Center’s board of trustees.

The appointment David Belletete brings the civic center’s board up to its capacity of nine, the organization announced in a recent news release.

Belletete managed the Peterborough location of his family’s business, Belletetes Inc., for 25 years and is now the firm’s vice president, working out of its Jaffrey headquarters.

He lives in Jaffrey with his wife, Nancy, and the couple has three daughters, Celia, Camille and Lillian. He has previously held public postings as a selectman and member of the planning board.

The civic center is at 40 Main St. and is open Monday to Friday, 10 a.m. to noon and 1 to 5 p.m.
