Keene’s upcoming assisted living complex has appointed its health center administrator.

Mary Ellen Dunham will be the Hillside Village Health Center administrator when the complex opens, the organization announced in a news release. Dunham joins the Keene facility after a five-year stint as the executive director of Sentry Hill at York Harbor, an upscale retirement community in York, Maine.

She also has experience as a senior-living professional at Oceanside Nursing Center and Partridge House Assisted Living, both in Hampton, and The Mark Wentworth Home in Portsmouth.

Dunham holds a master’s degree in health care administration from the University of New Hampshire, as well as a diploma in nursing from St. Elizabeth’s Hospital School of Nursing in Brighton, Mass., and a bachelor’s degree in health care administration from St. Joseph’s College in Windham, Maine.

She is licensed in New Hampshire and Maine as a nursing home administrator and as a registered nurse. She also received new health services executive credentials earlier this year from the National Association of Long-term Care Administrator Boards.

Hillside Village is under construction on Wyman Road in Keene and is slated to open early next year, according to another recent news release from the organization.
