D isc golf is soaring in the Monadnock Region. Once played only by a handful of die-hards on only a handful of obscure courses, the game, which combines throwing a Frisbee with the elements of golf, now includes a national association, major tournaments and courses in 40 countries.

Two of those courses opened in the Keene area in just the last few months.
