Her office isn’t much larger than a walk-in closet, but it’s sure an efficient use of space. The “dressing room” is a bench hidden by a shower curtain. Cabinets made by her son-in-law are stuffed with clothes in their finished stage. There’s just enough room for an old, small television and stereo.

Spools of thread and a rack of coats are to her left, the sewing machine centered on her desk, an ironing board covered in cloth designed with buttons and sewing apparel to her right.
