Flooded Colorado town finds a friend in Stoddard, by Steve Gilbert

The unlikely bond between forestry expert Geoff Jones of Stoddard and the small, flood-ravaged community of Lyons, Colo., in the front-range of the Rockies, began with an Internet search about yoga.

The meditative exercise cleanses Jones physically and spiritually, and up popped information about a yoga instructor in Lyons, population 2,013. Curious, Jones looked up her business website, discovered that 32-year-old Rebecca Louzan was a friend of a friend, sent her a friend request on Facebook and she accepted.
