FITZWILLIAM — A report released Friday comes down hard on the operations of the town’s police department under its popular former chief.
The report, which was prepared by Municipal Resources Inc. of Meredith and cost the town $10,000, is critical of former Chief Wayne H. Kassotis’ leadership and his management of the seven-member department. It said there was a lack of communication between Kassotis, other town police officers and the board of selectmen.
