JAFFREY — Hoping to give students with failing grades more time to catch up on their classwork, Jaffrey-Rindge Middle School is extending the school week to include Saturdays.
When a student has an F, that means he or she doesn’t grasp the level of understanding necessary to move on in that subject, Principal Ryan Earley said. With the new three-hour Saturday program, the school is hoping to help students break that cycle of failing grades.
